Bonjour my dear Friends 💗
As I just spent yet another night at UNC’s Emergency Room (due to once again major heart issues and feeling incredibly weak), I thought that I would share with you a little tip on how to make your night in the ER much more enjoyable than it usually is… if you ever have to visit there too? (which I of course hope that you NEVER will!).
And if, just like they do for little me, the staff and nurses and doctors do offer big smiles at you and welcome you enthusiastically by your name when you arrive and (kind of like checking in a luxury hotel right? 😉 lol ) from your having visited the ER wayyyyy too often (as I have)… or even if you are so lucky that you end up there for just one night?… I wanted to share with you a great tip allowing you to make your stay in this non luxury 😉resort so much happier 😍… all from finding great yummy food 😋to keep you company through the night!…
So, here are the steps for you! 😊
First, just very quietly get up from your bed and… start disconnecting, very VERY gently… everythingggg that you are connected to 😉 aka finger sensor + heart monitor’s and its many wires + blood pressure cuff!… etc. … then simply unhook your IV bag from its holder (if you have one – some of the nights where I have bee in the ER I have had an IV, and sometimes I have not, all depending on my level of pain (which has ranged all the way from low and bearable… to literally tear triggered by the unbearable pain of my kidney stones (I have 12 of them between my 2 kidneys! if you do things, just do them right isn’t it!? lol ) … so just grab your IV bag in your hand and… simply start walking around! 🤕😊 … of course LOOKING LIKE you are TOTALLY AUTHORIZED to do so 😉 as you, of course, just CAN’T look sneaky or worried as that WILL get you caught right away 😉 … and you might just get put in time out! Lol as I actually was subjected to by a nurse once in my cardiac rehab!!! lol) … so then you can start walking to the double doors which are next to the EMS’s entrance, on the ER’s main floor… then pass those double doors (they will open for you in that direction), make a left… pass another double door… and you will then see elevators (NOT “pretty” ones that’s for sure! Lol …they SO look like merchandise uploading elevators in a commercial building… oups! I forgot… are we… actually merchandise sometimes? 😉 ) … then go up one floor… exit to your left and go straight down the busy hall (except if you do it at 3am like I did last night and it is then TOTALLY EMPTY! Lol ) … then 100 ft to your left will be… STARBUCKS! 🙂 and hidden on the right side of the fridges will be… SUPER YUMMY SOPPRESSATA with cheese!!! 😋😍 youpiiii yay to that great yumminess!!!
The next step is simply to just pay for it (I personally do NOT recommend shoplifting 😉 in that particular situation since running away from the cops with an IV in your arm AND carrying your IV bag all at gthe same time is just not ideal! 😉 It is simply truly NOT conducive of “optimized shoplifting” 😉 and if you are going to do something, always do it right… right!?).
You can then now just start to go out… in the street ! lol … and walk all around the building (as you will NOT be able to reverse your way in the ER from inside the hospital as the double doors require an unlocking badge) … then simply walk through the ER’s front entrance, acting like everything is just soooo “normal’ lol … walk back your way through all the hallways of admission and … to your bed… reconnect all your wires… (not before going to your MD in charge of you (mine was sooo super cute and kind and even flirty last night! Loved it! 😍) and lay down for her cutely a few slices of Soppressata and cheese on a paper napkin to offer to her as a snack… and watch her very surprised face when you do so! 😊 … quickly transformed into a big radiant smile… “ and so now return to your bed to reconnect everything before she can even think of asking you “Where in the world did you get that!?… “ lol …and… VOILA!!! All done!!!! 👍😎😊😋
And there you have it!… right in your lap is a great culinary pleasurable way to entertain and enjoy yourself for a little while and make the longgg 12 hours nigh stay in the hospital… just a little bit better! 😍
I truly hope that this modest tip will be helpful to you if you ever go to UNC’s ER? … and most importantly, I of course hope that you will NEVER get a chance… to use my tip! 😍
And btw if you ever do… and they ask you ” Who in the world would suggest for you to do that!?… ” please remember that my name is… Laurent Rousseau 😉 (this IS the name to give to hospital security if they insist for a name !?😉 ).
VERY IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER : “The stunt described in the post here above was performed by a trained professional patient! Do NOT attempt any of his suggestions! “ 😉 lol
With much MUCH love to YOU! ❤
