I thought of sharing here in this post the few messages that I shared with all my friends and followers on various social medias and while I was dealing with the first scheduling of the double BRAIN MRI (+ SPINE MRI) … then SCHEDULING IT… then DOING IT… then fearfully AWAITING FOR THE RESULTS…
POST #1:
” TUESDAY is… BRAIN MRI day! ” 🙁 at least in my little chaotic health struggles life!
… I thought of sharing and a little medical update for all of you who always express soooo much love and caring to my endless health challenges… and as I am now very unfortunately dealing with a whole new set of neurological struggles, I need to return once again to UNC early afternoon Tuesday for a double BRAIN MRI (and SPINE MRI too).
So, in case YOU are also at UNC that afternoon (mine is at 1.15pm) don’t hesitate to reach out… and maybe we can meet for a hug and cheer each other’s up… <3 Pain, suffering and fears are always eased up buy loving hugs and friends <3
With much much love to YOU <3

ps: I thought of including here a link to one of my previous posts from my blog and from a couple of months ago about being ” inserted ” 😉 once again ” in the tube ” ! 😉 🙁 you know that tube where you get super claustrophobic and hear super loud bangs every minute for over an hour… THAT kind of … “not so much” fun tube!
ps2: and btw you would think that they would at least glue some cool PHOTOS of like… French pastries… or puppies… or a beach in Bora Bora… or photos of a kind loving caring stylish elegant Woman (my personal preference as most of you know already 😉 <3 – btw if you know any, please send me an email… my heart is for the first time longing to meet… my very last first kiss <3 ) inside the tube where you are staring at a giant piece of steel 3 inches from your face for over an hour in my case (since it is 3 MRIs in a row! 🙁 ) but… guess what!? NOP!!!! NOTHINGGGG at all to stare at in the tube… nothingggggg… what’s up with that right!? lol

… bracing tonight for tomorrow’s afternoon feared double brain MRI at UNC (not fearing the MRI itself of course, even though with the IV and the die they inject in your brain is not really the most pleasant way to spend an afternoon! 😉 … but definitely fearing the life changing possible results such as MS, or brain tumor etc. 🙁 ) .
As always, destiny and life’s endless randomness will so decide…
Spending 1 1/2 to 2 hours (since my neurologist ordered 3 different MRI!) totally still in and not panicking in that head brace will not be the funnest of times to say the least ! lol
Thankfully I have the amazing support and love of the 2 most amazing Women in my life, my daughter Stephanie <3, and my ex companion (now BFF) Leah <3 who will accompany me tomorrow… I am so deeply and forever grateful for them both <3
With much MUCH love to YOU and all the people who live in your heart <3

While dealing now with high stress and fears of awaiting the phone call with the brain MRI results😞… I am now focusing on what truly matters 😉😀lol and …I just can’t get over how so cuteee those pants they gave me were yesterday while getting prepped for the brain MRI.
First time ever out of so many dozens of times in the hospital and surgeries etc that i had a patient gown that was not … hurting my visual and artistic senses ! lol so yayyyy to the MRI team!!!👍👍👍💫💢💫 and those tight pants so matched my shoes isn’t it? A happy stylish day😉👍💗
Ps. And btw the AMAZING gentleman here featured is the incredibly skilled nurse who after all other ones poked me unsucessfully 4 TIMES all missing my IVs (and hurting me quite a lot every time unfortunately) but HE did it successfully in no time and with very little pain…I was SOOOO thankfull to his expertise and kindness💗💗💗💗
Ps2. Pretty funny that my mouth looks like…a duckb ready to quack! I was just begging him “pleaseeee make it work!😀” as was 5th IV attempt by then!
…sharing a little memory of a few hours ago of my very dear friend Anna💗coming with me to the brain MRI prep for support…soooo sweet of her kind and beautiful heart💗
… thought of sharing with you tonight a few of the fun memories from this afternoon little “adventure” at UNC for my brain and spine MRIs <3
here are a few random tidbits regarding these snapshots …
-I am making a not so happy 😉 face on 2 of those photos during “IV time” simply because… guess what!? they did not miss 1 IV and had to redo it (which happens of course) but this time they had to IV me… 5 times in a row!!! … as the 4 first time did not work (according to the 3 nurses who went at it! ) and of course 1 IV does hurt some but is very bearable pain wise… but after both of your hands and both of your arms have been poked deep and… all failed and they have to redo the whole thing and page the “IV expert” … I started to be in quite a lot of pain… and I now am enjoying 5 big bruises tonight! lol ) .
And btw the “expert” did AMAZING! got my IV in perfectly in 1/2 the time of all the pain induced by the other people trying… so… that was not too much fun! lol but I know they are all doing their best so hard feelings of course… but being poked 5 times was a first for little me!
-adorable beautiful Anna <3 came with me for support and until my amazing little sunshine Stephanie <3 could come over racing from her classes nearby and stay with me for the MRI and drive me afterwards… and I was SO grateful for both of her presence during those hours…
-the MRI team was super fun and super nice and I of course did my best to entertain them 😉 <3 …and btw I am going to actually go dance salsa with one of the nurses next week… can’t wait 🙂 I started to tell her about it while they were prepping me for the MRI and disconnecting my defibrillator etc… and… I decided to invite her to join me to a social dance. Why not right?… life is soooo short… and soooo precious and beautiful <3
-the lady in the photo at the entrance with Anna and I is…well.. a total stranger! lol she noticed how Anna and I were so enthusiastic and having so much fun while checking in so… she decided to insert herself in our little souvenir photo ! lol great kind people everywhereeee <3 loveeee it <3
– btw how sooooo CUTE were my hospital pants right!? 🙂 for once they were very decently cute and super skinny! instead of all the not so stylish gowns they usually give me during all my hospital stays… my top was… hummm… not so pretty! lol but I was VERY excited for the pants (I think that maybe… just maybe? … I took them home with me 😉 ) .. and guess what? they SO matched my VAN’s shoes don’t you think? 🙂 very happy surprise of this day 🙂
-oh and last little sharing… the weird sticker that you see on my forehead while I am getting my… 5 IVs! 🙁 is simply as I was so tired of all of them failing and getting pain uselessly for each of them that… I got bored 🙂 and started to stick that (which is actually for the IV itself) … to my forehead. A super cute nurse made a super cute face when she noticed it and asked … very cutely and wittily ” did they put that on you? or… is it “self inflicted”? 😉 how funny she was! loved it! such great team there! <3
So now I will be fearfully and eagerly awaiting for the MRI reading results tomorrow… will all either be good luck or bad luck… all so random in our lives isn’t it?
At least Anna and Stephanie and I made the very best of this day <3
With much MUCH love to YOU <3
