Effie <3 … a super cutie! So brave, adorable and beautiful… who, very sadly, went through major heart struggles 🙁 but her beautiful spirit prevailed!
Bonjour my dearest Friends <3
I wanted to share with you this very cute story about the huge privilege, thanks to technology and social media, of randomly creating and sharing LOVE and beautiful FRIENDSHIPS.. out of life’s adversity and sometimes unkindness to our path…
We too often these days hear how social media are “evil” and unhealthy in so many ways… I wanted to share with you a little personal story of how it can ALSO be the total opposite… allowing for connections and LOVE offered and shared that would be TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE without… social media <3
For me technology and social media are simply like… wine. You can “use” it for culinary elation and making a great meal an amazing one, enhancing everything you taste… or… you can “use” wine as a drug… get drunk… and either literally hurt people with your angry words, or physically… or drive drunk and kill an innocent person.
Same thing for social media… if you use them “for love” <3 they are an absolutely AMAZING addition and tools for our lives… and for our heart’s journey… <3
So now back to the little star and STAR of this little story… super cutie and sooooo brave, EFFIE ! <3
ADD LINKE TO THINGS I SENT HER
… I am including here a couple of the video or photo little tidbits that I created for Effie over the past few months… or shared with her… always trying to simply bring smiles and love and support to her days and to her struggling journey… and I am including them here just in case that you too, know of a child struggling with health issues, emotional or physical or both, and so that you can if you wish also bring smiles to their heart and days with sharing those with her/him… it is all about love and bringing support and caring and smiles to all, especially the children of our world… especially those so unfairly suffering like no child ever should 🙁

This story and sharing is all about an AMAZING SUPER DUPER CUTIE ADORABLE BIG “LITTLE” GIRL <3 who lives all the way in… England! Her name is Effie <3
So thanks to my massive heart attack a year or so ago, and all the endless health struggles that followed it, I ended up joining an online private Support Group for… well… all the people who ALSO kind of… DIED… as we all did 🙁 and/or who are dealing with major heart issues and IMPLANTED DEFIBRILLATORS (ICD) etc. as I also have…
So one day, randomly perusing through that message board, my eyes get caught by a photo of an adorable little girl, but whose eyes and face were transpiring with so much sadness, fear and struggles 🙁 right before one of her yet another 🙁 Defibrillator surgery (and as hers kept getting infected, as mine did 3 times) and I simply felt compelled to simply reach out, through the help of her amazing and sooo caring Mom Helen, and send her little photos of videos here and there to simply bring a smile to her… long story short, this is how our “4,000 miles away” friendship developped and it has brought so much joy to my heart and days, to modestly bring some to hers and her Mom’s.
Effie is now all healed from those surgeries and infections and back to enjoying a wonderful life as any and all little girls and boys always should <3 it is one thing to deal with that kind of health “hell” when you are 54 like me… but it is a whole other scary journey to do it when you are so young… and my heart SOOOO goes out to her <3 <3 <3
Now
a cute little addendum to that story is that, as our friendship developped, I noticed on some of Effie’s photos that… she had an EYE on her forehead 🙂 I of course asked Helen if it was a religious meaning or any other meaning I did not know about?… and she explained to me that it was simply one of her nurses who had the brilliant idea of putting an eye sticker on her forehead before one of her surgeries on her forehead so that she could “see” what was going on while under anesthesia… and make sure that everything went OK!… how immensely CUTE LOVING and CARING of an idea is that right!!!???
And so, needless, to say, the moment I learned about that I started to put an eye on my forehead as well (either hand drawn, or drwan on a band aid that I would then stick to my forehead) everytime I would go to a hospital for my health (which, unfortunately, is pretty much weekly with one thing or another not going well or source of pain in my body). And when I started to mention the story to my nurses and Doctor they all jumped on board and asked at my next visit if they could take a turn at … drawing an eye for Effie <3 on my forehead.
That is our little Love story and story of Love to always be there for each other and bring smiles to each other’s path, especially all the c suffering children of our World…
Sending lotsss of love to Effie and Helen.. and to all those who helped me create these eyes and photos to bring a smile to her beautiful big little heart <3
So no matter how much suffering and pain and worries are in your own live (and God knows my life is FILLED with such… lots of pain, every single day, in very many body parts, with all the deep worries and fears that come along with it), PLEASE never miss a single opportunity to bring LOVE and SMILES and SUPPORT to others… and sillyness and cutenesess to little ones <3 … ESPECIALLY to them as children DO get so SCARED of all going on around them in busy hospitals and re op rooms and in the ICU etc… as SO MUCH is going on and so many doctors and so many nurses… and so many needles and pricks 🙁 that it is SO EASY for them to get scared and distressed by all that! 🙁 so please be super extra giving and extra mindful to them <3 always <3 it is takes truly SO LITTLE to bring smiles to a child! <3 mostly mindfulless and rememebering how to be silly and cute…(which by the way is great and health prac tice FOR YOURSELF and your adult life ANYWSY!@ <3 )
So please PLEASE never ever miss a single opportunity to bring a smile and some love and support to all those who suffer… especially so for children who do not have the emotional and perspective ressources that we have later in life, to deal with the fears of the unknown and surgeries etc… bringing love to all is always very simple, all it takes is the desire to do so and very simple gestures…
With much much love to YOU my dear friends <3 and a HUGEEEE HUG and KISS and LOTSSSS of LOVE to… Mademoiselle EFFIE!!! <3

ps: I also decided to DRAW her name on one of my trips Filming at Jordan Lake … attached for you a little snapshot of that 🙂
